It’s On In The Field..........
A Sports, Music and Business extravaganza showcasing Salisbury's Greatness – taking place on Hudson’s Field on Sunday 30th May 2010.
This is the inaugural ‘It’s on in the field’ event and we need your help! We aim to raise as much money as possible for The Stars Appeal, Caring 4 Kids Campaign. This charity raises money to create the best possible experience for the 300,000 people who rely on Salisbury District Hospital. It funds extra care and equipment over and above that provided by the NHS. Their current project is the Caring 4 Kids Campaign, which aims to make life better for the thousands of children and their families who come to the hospital every year.
The event aims not only to raise money for charity but to encourage young and old people to participate in sports and to showcase the vast array of sports clubs and associations we have in the local area. There is also a Business Village, sponsored by the FSB and an entertainment tent with live music all day and all evening. We will also be holding the Sports Awards on the eve of Saturday 29th May.
Sponsorship Opportunities for Business
There are lots of sponsorship opportunities – large and small. Currently our partners include, The Salisbury Journal, Spire FM, Federation of Small Businesses, The Value Cars Group, Emery Little, Alijak and many others joining us daily!
We would love to work with your company to provide support for this worthy cause and offer you some exposure to the anticipated thousands of visitors on the day. Sports, Dance and Acting Clubs and Associations
If you are a club or association that would like to take part, please return the downloadable expression of interest form to us at amanda@bansheeevents.com as soon as possible. Closing date for entries is Monday 1st March 2010. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. You can also download guidelines for application which lays out the options there are for you to take part.
FSB and Chamber of Commerce Business Village
We will have an array of business exhibition stands available to FSB and Chamber of Commerce members and non-member alike from 10am to 5pm. Exhibiting fees will be low and all proceeds will go into the charity pot. We also plan to have a Business Village hog roast and barbeque after the stands are closed so business owners can party the night away in a private area. Local bands
An entertainment tent will be available all day and evening and we need local bands to support the event and come and play a set. If your band/group/singer etc can help, please contact Sean Biggins on threebiggins@btinternet.com
This will be a fantastic day with thousands of visitors coming along – help us put Salisbury on the map and support us in anyway you can.
